More than 400 species and 4,000 specimens, including fish, amphibians, reptiles and arthropods from fresh and salt waters of Colombia, fill with life the 25 fish tanks that accompany the entire tour of the Aquarium, one of the greatest attractions not only of the Explora Park, but from Medellín.
A jungle flooded with the species typical of the Amazon rainforest draws the attention of visitors; seahorses arouse admiration, and the same feeling is generated with corals, octopuses, reef fish, rays, jellyfish, electric fish and many more species that we can rarely see in their daily lives.
Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. m. at 6:00 p.m. m .; ticket office until 4:00 p.m. m. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, from 10:00 a.m. m. at 6:30 p.m. m .; ticket office until 5:00 p.m. m.

The 580,000 liters of water that fill the tanks transport the visitor to an aquatic world that never ceases to amaze. The Aquarium also acts as a research and environmental education center, with the mutual support of other institutions in the city and the country; Also, it highlights and brings the river and marine richness of Colombia closer to all those who observe the huge fish tanks.
