The Alte Post is a former post office, which was renovated in recent years to create a modern hotel which remains mindful of its historical setting in Mindelheim.

Mindelheim is the main town in the Lower Allgäu district, and enjoys good road connections here in the foothills of the Alps. The Munich/Lindau and Ulm/Kempten motorways are close to here. You can stroll around Mindelheim’s historic quarter, and visit museums or other cultural locations. The surrounding countryside is ideal for hiking or cycling. Great places to visit nearby include the spa town of Bad Wörishofen, the Baroque basilica in Ottobeuren, and the castles in Kirchheim and Babenhausen. Conferences can be held in the Cäcilienzimmer, which seats up to 40 delegates.
