It is the work of the plant farm ‘El vergel’. It is surrounded by a double row of lime trees, in its center there is a pool in whose corners there are located four marble sculptures, the creation of Virginio Arias, which were brought from Italy and represent the four continents known up to that date (1862). which were America, Europe, Asia, and Africa.



Surrounding the pool are ‘Olmos Pendula’, which shade the benches and four large trees, one in each corner. It is a gigantic magnolia tree, a Lawson cypress, a Lebanese cedar and a vaporous 'cryptomeria elegans'.



On the west side of the square is the Bernardo O'Higgins monument that was inaugurated in 1957.











Angol is 127 km away. from Temuco, 33 km. from Collipulli, 574.77 km from Santiago de Chile.



By plane

There is no direct access but you can get from Santiago on daily flights to Temuco, to the Maquehue Airport and from there take locomotion to Angol.



By car

From the north and the south, it can be accessed by the Pan-American Highway or Route 5, you must enter the city of Collipulli, which is on the route, and from there it is 33 km. on the paved road to Angol.



By bus
