Ecuador Park is a great recreational area with many points of historical, social and cultural relevance in the city of Concepción, Chile.
Until 1939 the Ecuador Park was called Alameda. Name change after the devastating earthquake that occurred that year, in which Ecuador helped the city of Concepción. In honor of this gesture, it was decided to change the name of the park for the one that remains to this day.
In 1964 the International Popular Art Fair was established, which has been held in the park every year since then.

Concepcion is located 510 km south of Santiago, 399 km from Chillán and 127 km. from the city of Los Angeles. It can be reached:
By plane
Daily flights depart from Santiago at the Arturo Merino Benítez Airport. The duration of the flight is 1 hour.
By car
It can be reached from Chillán to the southwest by Route 5 South, it is 15 km., And then to the west by Route 152. In total there are 112 km. on asphalt road.
It can be reached from Los Angeles to the north by Route 5 south to the town of Cabrero and from there to the northwest. In total there are 130 km. on asphalt road.
By bus
Buses leave every 1 hour from the main terminals in Santiago, the trip takes 6 hours. From regions there are daily departures, you should check with the respective road terminals.
A meeting place for penquista families, where there are games for children, multi-courts and above all a place to enjoy rest and nature, it has an area of about a kilometer.
