Jukaitei offers Japanese-style accommodations with warm relaxing lighting and ocean views. Each comes with a wooden cypress bath which has large windows and guests can enjoy the sunset. A free shuttle is available from Amino Train Station, which is a 20-minute drive away and must be reserved at time of booking.
The air-conditioned rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Each comes with a flat-screen TV, a fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags. An en suite bathroom and a safety deposit box are included as well.
Massages can be requested for an extra cost and guests can purchase local gifts at the souvenir shop. Drink vending machines are on-site and colourful Japanese Yukata robes are provided for every female guest.
Fresh seafood is featured in the traditional multi-course meals served for dinner. A Japanese set menu is served for breakfast.
Jukaitei Ryokan is a 5-minute drive from Sunagata Beach and a 15-minute drive from Kotohikihama Beach. Swiss Village Ski Resort is a 45-minute drive and Kyoto city centre is a 3-hour drive or train ride away.
