The palace was ordered to be built by the Ross Santa María family in 1912. The Tudor style was chosen, highlighting its finished work in stone, while in its construction woods expressly brought from France were used. With these the walls of the rooms and the family chapel were covered. The building was acquired in 1967 by the Arab Real Estate. Today the Arab Union Club operates in its independence.

By car:
One of the options to get to Viña del Mar is through Route 68, you enter Valparaíso and follow the correct signs to get to Viña. The Viña - Valparaíso Highway is 5.5 km long and begins in Caleta Abarca.
There is also a direct route to Viña del Mar from Route 68 towards Variante Agua Santa or Route 66, to travel a beautiful path with views of the Bay of Valparaíso and the beaches of Viña del Mar.
On May 9, 2000, the Viña del Mar Municipal Council approved it as a historical and / or architectural building.
