Ryokan Matsunoyu features indoor and outdoor public hot spring baths, as well as a hot spring bath for private use. It offers Japanese-style rooms, free-use bicycles and a free shuttle service from JR Ueki Station, a 20-minute drive away.
Rooms have a tatami (woven-straw) floor, on which traditional futon bedding is spread to sleep in. Amenities include an LCD TV, a washbasin and an attached toilet, while bathing facilities are shared. Yukata robes are provided.
Matsunoyu Ryokan offers luggage storage, while facilities include a souvenir shop and drinks vending machines. To use the private hot spring bath, a reservation is required.
The Matsunoyu is a 30-minute drive from Kumamoto Castle, while Daikanbo is a 1-hour drive.
A Japanese breakfast and dinner are served in the dining room.
