The Hotel Tria Istanbul is an intimate, style hotel, elegantly decorated and recently opened in Sultanahmet, boasting views of the Marmara Sea and the Asian Side.
Crafted from a traditional Ottoman edifice, its wooden facade reflects the nobility and charm of historical Istanbul, whilst its deluxe and standard rooms are comfortably furnished with modern amenities.
There is an à la carte resturant in Tria Hotel, which serves a variety of dishes. There are also an array of restaurants in the surrounding area.
This special class hotel is a short walk from the most significant monuments of ancient imperial Byzantium, such as the splendid Hagia Sophia, Hippodrome and Basilica Cistern, as well as Ottoman masterpieces like Topkapi Palace and the Blue Mosque. Sultan Ahmed Mosque - built between 1609 and 1616 by order of the Sultan Ahmed I, after whom it is named. It is commonly known as 'The Blue Mosque' due to its striking interior blue tiles.
Hagia Sophia - constructed between AD 532 and 537, this superb survivor of Byzantine architecture is often considered one of the greatest and most beautiful buildings in existence. It is now home to the Ayasofya Museum.
Basilica Cistern - the largest of several hundred ancient cisterns that still lie beneath the city of Istanbul, capable of holding up to 80000 m³ of water. The Tria Hotel opened on 01 April 2007 in the thriving Sultanahmet area, surrounded by historic monuments and popular businesses.
